How often do you put the needs of others ahead of your own?
Yes, we women have not been taught, or even encouraged, to look after ourselves. We feel that we must look after our family, partner, children, parents, but looking after ourselves is called selfish.
I think that self-love is one of the most precious things you can give to yourself.
To look after and love yourself is to appreciate, nourish, and even to cherish yourself.
Yes, I agree it might sound a bit selfish, but the truth is that, if you don’t love yourself, you will not believe that others can love you either. You’ll sabotage, question, doubt their motives and always feel unworthy of their love.
That’s why falling in love needs to start with yourself.
But what does it mean?
There are some steps which I truly encourage you to take on your falling-in-love-with-yourself journey. In my next post, we will begin to explore these steps together.
With all my love,
I’d love to hear from you; please leave a comment or a question. I’m curious if you have any insights, or something resonated or spoke to you.
If you know someone who would benefit from this kind of information, please share this her. The more of us that re-discover our radiant inner beauty, the better place the world becomes.
